本会注释 见@赛11:16;19:23-25@注释。如果以色列人忠于上帝,应许之地就会恢复第1-4,7节所描绘伊甸园般的肥沃和美丽;疾病将会在他们中间,就像第5和6节所描写的(见《SDA圣经注释》本卷第27、28页)。来自各国诚心寻求真理的人会走在通往耶路撒冷的“圣路”上,去认识真神上帝(见《SDA圣经注释》本卷第28-30页)。“污秽人”或不诚实的人“不得经过”“圣路”
。
但对于诚心寻求真理的人来说,这条道路十分明朗,连最愚拙的也不会迷路。所有“耶和华救赎的民”终必沿着这条路“唱歌来到锡安”,“永乐必归到他们的头上”(见@赛35:10@注释;参赛52:1;珥3:17)。但以色列因悖逆而失去了本可以属于她的光荣命份,于是本章的应许就归属于今日的教会(《服务真诠》第159、160页;见《SDA圣经注释》本卷第35、36页)。
